Jenny Swanson has been working with Radio Systems since 2006. Jenny graduated Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee with a BA in Sociology, Criminal Justice. She began her career auditing insurance companies for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in Baltimore, MD. From there she moved back to Tennessee and worked as an Account Manager at Willis of Tennessee, an insurance broker.
Jenny started her career at Radio Systems specializing in employee benefits. Over the past several years, she has taken over responsibilities to include compensation administration, performance management, employee retention & recognition programs, training & development, recruiting/onboarding, and wellness initiatives. In August 2014, Jenny joined the senior staff team.
A highlight of Jenny’s career was her participation in the Radio System Corporation Leadership Development program in 2011. In this program she attended graduate level courses at the University of Tennessee and gained valuable business skills through project work.
Jenny holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification and active memberships with the Society for Human Resources and World at Work. Jenny is the President of East TN Compensation and Benefits Association. She serves on the board of Girl Talk and is a Health Committee member for the United Way of Greater Knoxville. Jenny also continues to volunteer as a mentor through the Tennessee Achieves program.
Jenny lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with her husband, Daniel, two daughters, Abby and Lily, and son, Will. In her spare time, Jenny loves traveling, hiking, reading, cooking (especially baking cupcakes), and volunteering both at church and her children’s schools.
